Meet the illustrator
Mike Byrne kicked off his career as a designer for a greetings card company, so he knows how to make people feel things with just a doodle. When we've got a particularly bright and bubbly book that needs bringing to life, we call on Mike and his paintbox. Fuelled only by tea and biscuits, he has a ridiculous talent for drawing expressive characters with strong silhouettes in super-bold colours.
